Desk lamp
During my internship as a modelmaker I had the opportunity to design and build my own project. It began with the idea to combine concrete with metal in a gentle way and this concept of a lamp came to my mind. Fragility is nothing you relate to concrete and although copper is essential for the electricity, having it exposed is new on its own.
14 Hour Clock
Some of the best ideas started with a stupid mistake. This clock is neither practical nor really pretty, but it shares the backstory of stupidity. The result is very unique and funny. 28 hours a day allow 4 more hours to sleep or draw, whatever you prefer to do. Form follows function, but design should sometimes just have the right to be silly and break with conventional rules.
MicroW
It is as boxy as it can be, no round edges, just minimal overhang for ventilation. This microwave is as efficient as it can be, not just in terms of its shape. There are 4 buttons in total, on/off and open as mechanical buttons and + and - for time regulations integrated in a display.
